The Tzoumerka are an extended line of mountains with general direction from Noth to South. Inaccessible and with a hard bas-relief, the Tzoumerka have enough of their tops over than 2.000 m height.

The climate of the region would be characterized as transient from Mediterranean to temperate, maintaining the characteristics of the Mediterranean type, more in the low altitudes and least in the mountainous regions.

The diversity of the climate of this region, in combination with the remarkable hypsometric differences and the intense alternation of the morphology of the land and the bas-relief, encourage the growth of appreciable, rich and, on certain occasions, infrequent species of flora and fauna.
