The history of the cavern begins somewhere in the year 1960. Two young persons of that date,Apostolis Lambris and Gewrgios K.Karakwstas, took command from the chairman of the Community to open up a slot, which emitted cool air, in order to explore its interior place, with the occasion of arrival of the unforgettable speleologist Anna Petroheilos.

The cave has three levels. The tallest and the oldest, had collapsed in the past and we can find some parts of it. The medium level has been developed for tourism. The third level leads to a underground river.

The entrance and the exit of the cave are the same. Under of well-colored stalagmites three little lakes in color of grey, pink and white have taken shape. The interior part of the cave houses various species of insects as the species of Lepidopterans.

The path: After the entrance of the lake the hall leads to the First Chamber which has a length of 17 m. In the left side you can find the Chamber of the River.

The ladder leads to the Big Room with a height near to 6 meter.

After this the double ladder leads to the White Little Lake behind a series of stalagmites. The 52 m of the Hall of the Rich are following the Little Lake.

The hall leads to the Red Lake.

In the right side the floor is covering from stones over which the water of the Red Lake is gargling.
